
Audiologist
Dr. Erin Grimmitt earned her Bachelors of Science degree from Purdue University in 2016 and her Doctorate of Audiology from Indiana University in 2019. She completed her externship year at Yale University, where she cultivated a strong interest in cochlear implant technology. Dr. Grimmitt is passionate about helping all people, especially those who can longer receive benefit with traditional hearing aids. Dr. Grimmitt says that the greatest feeling in the world is seeing someone’s life change completely when they are able to hear and understand after years of struggling. Dr. Grimmitt has experience in a variety of clinical settings, from a busy ENT practice to isolated vestibular testing. Her breadth of knowledge is valuable for the diverse patient population that she sees. Dr. Grimmitt works with many major hearing aid and cochlear implant companies, such as Cochlear Americas, Advanced Bionics, Phonak and Oticon. She regularly attends manufacturer trainings so that she is up to date on all of the newest technology.
She is a member of the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association.
Outside of the office, Dr. Grimmitt enjoys cooking, hiking, and spending time with family.
