Therese M. Sankovitz
Dr. Therese M. Sankovitz has 34 plus years of Diagnostic Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing experience. Dr. Sankovitz earned her Masters of Science degree in Audiology from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point in May, 1983 and followed with her doctorate from A.T. Still University in August of 2016. Dr. Sankovitz is licensed to practice Audiology in Wisconsin and New Mexico. She has worked as a Clinical Dispensing Audiologist in several audiological settings including major medical centers, nursing homes and private practice ENT offices.
Dr. Sankovitz specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing and balance disorders in children and adults. Her primary focus is to assist the hearing impaired to maintain communication with the hearing community. She has extensive experience in hearing aid dispensing. She dispenses hearing devices from most major manufacturers including Signia, Phonak, Oticon, Starkey, Widex, Cochlear (BAHA) and ReSound. Dr. Sankovitz regularly attends technology training sessions with most manufacturers so she can provide up to date hearing aid fitting and repair service.
She is a member of the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiologists.
Dr. Sankovitz enjoys gardening, spending time with her adult children and is an award winning long arm quilter when not in the office.
